JVS Boston, a non-profit workforce development organization, is working to change that narrative. With a focus on equity-seeking communities, JVS provides tailored job readiness training, career coaching, and mentoring. Their mission is simple: to turn potential into opportunity.
This fall, JVS Boston partnered with The Energists on a groundbreaking pilot program designed to provide one-on-one mentoring and resume workshops. The goal was to help professional immigrants not just find jobs, but secure meaningful roles that reflect their expertise, in turn paving the way for long-term success.
Through this program, JVS introduced seven candidates to The Energists, each bringing a wealth of qualifications, experience, and determination. The group included an architect, IT professional, and a marketing leader. Their stories capture both the challenges and triumphs of this journey.
The collaboration between JVS Boston and The Energists provided the tools and support to help each candidate navigate the complexities of the U.S. job market.
